Special conditions and working with unpredictable elements generate their specific set of challenges. While it is rewarding to work with elements such as water, sudden changes in water behaviour, textures, and other changes above or below the surface can rapidly alter the impression and behaviours of materials. These conditions also create many challenges to the actors and performers whose health and wellbeing is always the priority. It is, however, exactly these kinds of challenges that reveal something new and incredibly interesting about materials and elements coming together in a production.
